Reconcile Projections with Reality
Keep your cash-on-hand and projections accurate by reconciling:
For Expenses:
- If a projected cost hasn't occurred yet, move it forward by reconciling
- If an actual expense comes in on a different date or amount, reconcile to update your remaining budget by reconciling
- Track what’s left to spend for each line item
For Contributions:
- Match actual income to your projections
- Move projections forward if a fundraising projection gets delayed by reconciling
